Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing signage company as a Project Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• To undertake site survey for engineering submissions.
• To undertake first in place approvals.
• Coordinate with production for first in place signs.
• To get the brief of the projects from engineering team & projects team.
• To handle all site activities including raising of MIR, WIR, MOS, RA, site permits, authority related     permits for sign installation.
• Issuance of MIR & WIR to PM/QS to prepare monthly invoice.
• Attend site meetings as & when required with PM if necessary.
• To coordinate with production team for follow up of signs required for installation.
• To follow up with stores & purchase for the materials/tools needed for installation.
• To coordinate & manage access equipment needed by third party like crane, cradle etc.
• To ensure complete all snags & get the final handing over documents signed.
• Depending on site work schedule, to hire manpower from third party.
• Preparation of daily manpower schedule for site.
• Weekly progress meeting internally with projects team.
• Follow up with site team to ensure smooth progress on installation.
• To follow up for the PC & ensure monthly PC is generated.
• Follow up for payments as per contract norms.
• Responsible for getting the relevant EI’s for new variations, submit costs, to obtain relevant cost approvals & update job card accordingly.
• Responsible to obtain final account/final PC for each project.
• To ensure all handing over documents are submitted & completion certificate is obtained.

Requirements

• Bachelors’ degree.
• Equivalent work experience minimum 3 years in similar position.
• Dubai Based with UAE Driving License.
