Description:

Store Supervisor required

We are looking for someone who can handle and manage below responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory records using digital inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with procurement team to replenish stock levels as needed.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and losses.

Distribution:

• Coordinate the distribution of materials and supplies to various departments within the shipyard.
• Ensure that materials are delivered to the production areas in a timely manner to avoid disruptions.
• Maintain a well-organized storage layout to facilitate easy access and efficient retrieval of items.

Supervision and Training:

• Supervise store staff, including storekeepers and material handlers.
• Provide training and guidance to store personnel on proper inventory management procedures and safety protocols.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues in a timely manner.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce safety regulations and procedures within the store area to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations pertaining to inventory management and material handling.

Reporting:

• Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and procurement activities.
• Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide recommendations to management for optimizing inventory control processes and reducing costs.
• Can write and speak English
