Description:
Procurement Executive – Construction (Abu Dhabi)
Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process for construction materials and equipment, from requisition to contract award.
- Source and identify qualified vendors and suppliers within the UAE.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to ensure best value for the company.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain positive relationships.
- Track inventory levels and manage stock control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all procurement regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Civil Engineering degree/diploma holder with 2-3 years of experience in procurement within the UAE construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing and negotiating contracts.
- Excellent understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English and Arabic is a plus.
