Hiring Accountant

Job Overview:

Al Asaad motors are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The ideal candidate will provide accurate financial information and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger Management:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure all accounting entries are accurate.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Manage all incoming and outgoing payments.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.

  Payroll Processing:

• Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

Inventory Control:

• Track and reconcile inventory accounts.
• Collaborate with sales and service departments to manage vehicle and parts inventories.
• Ensure adherence to internal control policies.
• Coordinate audits and ensure timely completion of audit processes.

Tax Compliance:

 

• Prepare and file tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Systems and Processes:
• Utilize dealership management software (DMS).
• Optimize accounting processes and workflows for efficiency.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Generate detailed reports on sales, expenses, and inventory.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Familiarity with dealership management systems and accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
