SafeCo Group is hiring Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description

We look forward to hiring a supply chain Specialist to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate should be responsible for purchasing the company’s supplies, searching for and identifying potential suppliers, evaluating offers taking into account key business standards and product specifications, negotiating purchase agreements, and dealing with shipping companies in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data
• Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements
• Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g. warehouse-slotting, route planning)
• Develop requirements and standards (e.g. packaging, procurement, delivery)
• Oversee inventory procedures
• Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules
• Evaluate vendor operations (e.g. freight forwarders) according to quality standards
• Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
• Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems
• Track KPIs and report on supply chain’s performance

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any relevant field
• 4+ years of proven experience in the same role
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Working conditions
• Location: Nasr City
• working hours from 9 am to 5 PM
• 2 days off ( Friday, Saturday)
