Main Job Purpose (Job Summary):
To oversee the Enterprise Infrastructure Management and ensure the availability, reliability and scalability
of the enterprise infrastructure is catering for all current and upcoming demands, also to oversee the SDC
(Sudatel Data Center) and provide commercial IaaS, PaaS and SaaS besides co-location, connectivity and
security services for SME’s and Large enterprises.

Duties & responsibilities:
1. Participate in developing the overall IT strategy.
2. Develop the operational plan for IT Infrastructure Management.
3. Oversee the Operation and Maintenance of the Infrastructure components including data centers,
servers, storages, backup, network, virtualization and cloud, security platforms, and systems.
4. Responsible for supporting projects and solutions by providing resources for IT infrastructure planning
and solutions to cater for new infrastructure deployments or expansions.
5. Assure the compliance of the enterprise and commercial data center to QMS, ISMS, and other
international standards.
6. Orchestrate execution and synergy between the resources of the Enterprise Infrastructure section and
the commercial data center, providing an optimized and efficient workforce.
7. Continuously improve the Infrastructure Management Department by applying best practices suitable
for the business operation.
8. Maintain O&M Standard operations across all infrastructure components.
9. Monitor IT Infrastructure faults, events, capacity, and licenses and proactively initiate expansion,
enhancement projects, or license upgrades.
10. Utilize service management tools and processes for all Infrastructure operations processes, including
incident management, change management, problem management, event management, etc.
11. Align with the IT and Corporate strategy teams in respect to strategic initiatives and recommend the
best solutions to fulfill the corporate and IT strategic objectives.
12. Provide leadership and development for the infrastructure management staff by coaching, mentoring,
performance management, devising learning and development plans, and coordinating with corporate HR.
13. Continuously stay updated with all IT infrastructure global trends and recommend adoption of new
technologies or solutions.
14. Maintain customer satisfaction for commercial and enterprise users, departments, or businesses.
15. Maintain end users’ equipment and devices in HQ and other employee locations, also support shops’
end-users by providing all equipment and support needed for the operation of the business centers in
Khartoum and the regions (laptops, desktops, Queue machines, IT Network, etc.).
16. Support the commercial data center and digital services initiatives by providing suggestions,
consultancy, supporting technical pre-sales, and after-sales services.

– Minimum Academic Qualification:
Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer Engineering , IT or any other equivalent
degree.
