Hiring Junior IT Support Engineer – Dubai UAE

Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in IT support.

Location: UAE, Dubai

Functional Expertise:

• Analyze business processes and user requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document system requirements.
• Troubleshoot and maintain network infrastructure, systems architecture, backup solutions, Wi-Fi, firewall, switches, databases, and applications (e.g., Apache, Nginx, and Hyper-V).
• Monitor regular updates for operating systems and antivirus software.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect IT systems, networks, and data.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Develop detailed technical specifications and documentation for systems and applications.

Technical Expertise:

Operating Systems:

• Proficient in Windows, Linux, and macOS administration.

Networking:

• Configure and manage Wi-Fi, switches, and routers.

Server Administration:

• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Familiarity with Cisco Call Manager.
• Skilled in VMware and Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
• Regularly perform backups and plan for disaster recovery.

Security:

• Implement antivirus solutions, monitor, and troubleshoot.
• Configure firewalls, and manage IPS and IDS.
• Understand vulnerability assessment and follow security best practices.

Hardware:

• Manage servers, desktops, laptops, and peripherals like printers, Wi-Fi devices, QNAP, NetApp, CCTV, NVR, and biometric systems.
